It looks like the former AEW champion is going to have a marquee match at Forbidden Door.
Hangman Adam Page lost the AEW World Title at Double Or Nothing and did not appear on Dynamite this week. He is set to return to action next week and is expected to wrestle on Forbidden Door later this month.
According to a report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Hangman Page vs. Kazuchika Okada is “listed” for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26. The match has not been confirmed as of yet.
For the time being, Okada is set to defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Jay White at NJPW Dominion on June 12. We’ll have to see whether the match will happen or not.
Hiroshi Tanahashi appeared on AEW Dynamite last night and will face CM Punk at the event.
