Happy Corbin Wrote Off TV At Hell In A Cell, Expected To Miss A Few Weeks
It looks like Happy Corbin will be off our screens for a little while
Madcap Moss and Corbin have been feuding since just after WrestleMania 38. The feud stemmed from Moss costing Corbin his match at WrestleMania vs Drew McIntyre and has been a fun story, serving its purpose to elevate Moss. The two would clash one more time at Hell In A Cell last night in a No Holds Barred Match, with Moss coming out the victor.
Madcap Moss finished the match by crushing Corbin’s neck in a steel chair. It certainly looked like it was a way to write Corbin out of the storyline for a while. Dave Meltzer discussed the angle on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio.
“The thing is, that looked like an injury angle… He could be back next week. I looked at that and it’s like, OK, he should be out for however long. A couple weeks at least.”
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio
Time will tell how long Corbin will be off WWE TV for a while following this spot as Madcap missed a couple of weeks for the same angle. In the essence of keeping things consistent, it should at leas be a few weeks till Corbin returns to SmackDown.
