It appears Ali is going to resume his prior position within the company.
Mustafa Ali returned to the WWE a few weeks back after a lay off in relation to him publicly requesting his release from his WWE contract. Upon returning, Ali started a feud with Austin Theory on Monday Night RAW and would end up challenging for Theory’s US Title at WWE Hell In A Cell this past Sunday. The match occurred in Chicago, Ali’s hometown and he lost clean to Vince McMahon’s chosen star.
Now it appears that Ali will resume wrestling on Main Event, something he found himself doing on a weekly basis prior to him requesting his release. Ali would react to this on Twitter:
