Who could have seen that coming?
Unfortunately for many people who celebrate Pride, they receive a lot of backlash as people jump to say “Where’s straight month” or any other number of useless, hate fueled comments. Earlier today, AEW would release one of their Pride showcase videos, with Nyla Rose being the latest LGBT+ talent to get one.
The comments are full of bigotry and homophobia and that’s bad enough, but Rose has also had to suffer through immense transphobia at a time where people are trying to be proud of their identities. Nyla Rose would remind people on Twitter that this is why Pride is needed:

Of course, there is many comments supporting Nyla Rose because for the most part, most professional wrestling fans understand that she is trans and that’s her choice. It’s a shame a couple of bad eggs have to ruin some goodness in this world.
