Sometimes even the guys in developmental get hate.
This past weekend we saw Joe Gacy challenge Bron Breakker at NXT In Your House, and the match was built on Gacy being a manipulative heel who attempted to get Bron DQ’d. It didn’t work and Bron would retain his NXT Title.
Joe Gacy recently spoke to The Wrestling Inc. Daily, where he discussed his character. He said he never got a reaction quite like the one he did when he debuted the gimmick.
It was new to me … It was something new and different, I guess you could say. I don’t believe in the last couple of years, anyone has made headlines like that.”

Time will tell what Gacy will get up to now that he has left the NXT title picture. However, it is sure to bring more fans into the product as his character work has drawn the praise and ire of fans of the brand.
