Kenny Omega has been on the shelf a while now.
Omega walked away from the ring to heal and have multiple surgeries a few months ago when Hangman Adam Page defeated him for the AEW World Title. Kenny is the longest reigning world champion in AEW’s short history and is classed as one of the best wrestlers in the world. We have not seen much from Omega since his hiatus began but reports have suggested he has played a big part of AEW Fight Forever.
In a video posted by LifeMed Institute, the Best Bout Machine could be seen undergoing cutting edge Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment. It is not known how recent the footage is.
Time will tell if this revolutionary healing method will help Kenny return to the ring faster than originally thought. There is still no timetable for Kenny Omega’s return to the ring.
