The biggest movie star in the world just revealed his biggest movie yet.
Black Adam is a movie that has been in development for quite some time now, however, the role was always designed for Dwayne Johnson. In a follow up from DC’s SHAZAM!, The Rock will play a character blessed with the magic of the gods. While Black Adam is a character that is usually seen as the bad guy, it is anticipated that the character will be a hero by the end.
The Rock released the official trailer earlier today, you can see it below:

There have been reports in recent months that The Rock will not be filming a movie in the first quarter of 2023, leaving the door open for a WWE return. However, if Black Adam does well at the box office, development on SHAZAM! 2 may take that time slot. Time will tell what The Rock will be doing in 6-7 months time.
