It looks like AEW are really trying to sell the storyline involving MJF.
It’s been a weird 10 days for MJF. He missed a meet and greet the day before Double Or Nothing which threw the entire wrestling world into chaos. MJF would appear at Double Or Nothing, but the real gem came on last week’s AEW Dynamite when MJF cut a scathing pipe bomb promo that lead to his mic being cut. Tony Khan has consistently refused to comment on MJF.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan was asked about MJF’s scathing promo. Tony Khan made it clear he still won’t comment on anything related to MJF.
“I can’t comment on that part. I would say that it was a great night overall at the Forum, on the aggregate.”

Time will tell if MJF will appear in any capacity on this week’s AEW Dynamite but for now, Tony Khan is looking to continue the angle by not commenting on it.
