Hook Sets His Sights On AEW World Title
Hook wants to be AEW World Champion.
Hook has had a meteoric rise to the top of the AEW card in terms of overness. AEW are more than happy to continue to let Hook’s rise be a slow burn to the top of the card, but for now he will likely remain a mid carder at best.
Speaking to GQ, HOOK stated his goal in AEW.
“I want to be the AEW world champion. That’s it. That’s the goal. But outside of wrestling, I plan to delve into some other markets—design or artistic directing I also want to look at acting and modelling,”

Hook also spoke about his AEW debut in December of last year:
“I still struggle to put it into words. It was such a surreal feeling. With all the hype that was built up before the debut, I definitely felt an intense amount of pressure. But I’ve been an athlete my entire life. I’ve had to deal with pressure before. So I didn’t feel scared. I felt ready to attack.”

Clearly Hook has his eyes set on superstardom and being a future crossover star. His rise has been booked fantastically by AEW and hopefully he will continue to rise to the top of the company at some point in his young career. Hook is currently in a storyline with Danhausen at the moment, with Hook now a babyface.
