Athena’s signing with AEW continues to reap the rewards for Tony Khan.
Athena debuted with AEW at Double Or Nothing and immediately set her sights on Jade Cargill, the AEW TBS Champion. Athena has already defeated one member of the Baddies Section in Kiera Hogan and will look to do the same vs Red Velvet on Friday’s Rampage.
Cargill doesn’t want to wait till after Rampage though, as she’s gone scorched earth on Athena, comparing her to Mandy Rose in the process:

Jade Cargill may have a point, but it is doubtful that will slow down Athena’s momentum considering the crowd reactions “The Fallen Goddess” has received in AEW. Either way, this storyline is set to be a good one.
