It looks like Swerve may be turning heel after all.
Last night on AEW Dynamite, we witnessed a Casino Battle Royal that for all intents in purposes, hit all the right notes. One person who had major storyline developments in the match was Swerve Strickland, who eliminated two allies while their backs were turned. First, Strickland would turn on tag team partner Keith Lee, dumping him over the top rope. Lee would momentarily stare Swerve down before Swerve returned to the action. He would also ally up with Darby Allin and then turned on him also.
Swerve tweeted after the match calling Keith Lee “Dead Weight.” Now, Swerve has added to the first tease, once again referencing a shifting attitude:
“Sore loser”

Do you expect to see a full heel turn from Swerve or do you think he’s just teasing? If his actions and tweets are anything to go by, Swerve may already be a heel as of this writing. We will find out more next time Swerve has a microphone.
