Tony Khan has a love hate relationship with pretty much every major wrestling personality out there. Khan is a brash personality, so this is to be expected especially with how much he promotes AEW. The company has done incredibly well in the last few years and considering they are only 3 years old, one would say its been a successful run for the company.
While speaking on the latest episode of Writing with Russo, Vince Russo blasted Tony Khan for coming across as a clown.
“Bro, Tony Khan listen, with all due respect, I don’t know the guy. I’m sure he is actually a sweetheart of a guy. He’s given a lot of guys jobs, forget all that. I’m talking about what I’ve seen of him on television, in scrums. Bro, the guy comes across like a clown. You can’t put a clown in a serious, serious angle like this. Like you just…it’s going to be silly and, bro, that really creates a problem.”

Clearly Russo doesn’t feel Khan is a credible enough personality to carry a feud like the one we are seeing between Khan and MJF in AEW as of late.
