William Regal Reminds Fans Why He Stays Off Social Media
William Regal has had a great start to his AEW career.
Debuting at AEW Revolution earlier this year, Regal has been managing Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta as part of the Blackpool Combat Club. At present, The BCC is fighting the Jericho Appreciation Society. With Regal being on commentary for their matches, it has lead to many sound bites being produced from Regal’s commentary.
Regal took to Twitter on Thursday and called out SportsKeeda for taking a quote out of context:
I wished I hadn’t seen this and this is why I don’t look on here much. This was a jab aimed at the JAS, people we are fighting with at the moment. Stop trying to make headlines or cause trouble. Another reason for me to stay out of the wrestling bubble.

William Regal is not a fan of tribalism regarding WWE and AEW. Since leaving the promotion, Regal has remained classy while discussing the WWE in podcasts and other forms. As Regal mentioned, the comment was aimed at the Jericho Appreciation Society.
