Mick Foley Praises Cody Rhodes For Leaving On His Terms

Getting praise from the king of pain in pro wrestling is a hell of a thing.

Cody Rhodes performed an incredible feat when he managed to wrestle the full Hell In A Cell Match with Seth Rollins at the premium live event with a torn pectoral tendon.

While speaking during the latest episode of his podcast “Foley is Pod,” Mick Foley stated that Cody Rhodes deserves credit for leaving WWE on his own terms following his injury.

“I think people should give Cody a lot of credit for leaving WWE on his own because he believed he was capable of more.

And he was. So I applaud anybody who goes out there and makes themselves more valuable without the national TV machine behind them.”

Time will tell how long Rhodes will be on the shelf for with his injury but it is estimated he will be back in time for the Royal Rumble.
