FTR are one of the best tag teams in the world at this time with people calling for them to be challenging for the AEW Tag Titles soon. They are currently the ROH tag champions and will likely defend those titles at Forbidden Door later this month.
For a long time, FTR had made it clear they want Bret Hart to manage them. That finally happened as Bret Hart managed FTR as they faced Brian Pillman Jr and Brock Anderson, who were accompanied by Arn Anderson.
