There is a new NWA World Champion.
On Saturday, NWA hosted their Alwayz Ready event where they would address the world title picture due to Matt Cardona’s injury. Cardona tore his bicep and will be out for a long time. Due to this, Cardona was stripped at the event, with him not being pleased about the decision.
Later on that night, Trevor Murdoch, Nick Aldis, Sam Shaw and Latimer faced off in a fatal four way match for the vacant title. Murdoch would win the match, once again becoming the NWA World Champion.
Time will tell how long Murdoch will hold the title but it its imagined that Cardona will be challenging for the title when he returns from injury.
