Miro Remembers Moment With The Rock In WWE
It seems like Miro has some moments in WWE he remembers fondly.
As Rusev, Miro had a decent run in the WWE. He was featured on TV prominently and was routinely involved in major plotlines on the show. He had major segments with many people, including a back and forth between himself and Lana with The Rock.
While speaking during the special edition episode of the Kurt Angle show, Miro recalled his promo segment with The Rock and how it felt for him to get to work with The Rock in WWE.
“I love that; it was such a great moment. First, we were in Brooklyn, sold out 20,000 people, whatever it is. We’re doing our regular spiel, and all of a sudden, with that music, hit man, that crowd pop like this, its electricity literally in the air.”
It was great. Just being there with the guy [Dwayne Johnson] that I’ve been watching all my life perform and not just in the ring, but in Hollywood. And now I get to do my thing with him. It was just surreal.
Like we were in the middle of the ring and doing the stare-off. He [The Rock] goes, ‘Wait, wait, wait, not now, not now.’ He’s teaching you right there, and you can’t even tell, man, because he’s so damn good. And he [The Rock] knows these people in the back of his hand and knows how to control them. Yes, teach me, Rock; I wanna be like you.”

Miro recently returned to AEW TV after a brief hiatus from the promotion. He would defeat Johnny Elite in his return match to the promotion. Time will tell what will be next for the former TNT Champion.
