It looks like we have another match that will likely be happening at the crossover PPV.
Since Forbidden Door was announced there has been much speculation in regards to the dream matches that we expect to see. Last night at NJPW Dominion, Sabre spoke in a post-match interview, Sabre took umbrage with the fact that NJPW staff seemingly edited out a challenge directed at Bryan for a potential match in Chicago, the site of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
“I hummed the theme to ‘Final Countdown’ very beautifully. But I changed the lyrics [from] are we heading to Venus’ to ‘are we heading to Chicago.’ Presumably, because I’ve got the voice of an angel, you bastards edited it out, didn’t you? So no more time for subtlety. American Dragon, can you take some time out of your busy golfing schedule at the ‘Blackpool Country Club’ to find out who the best technical wrestler in the world is? But I’ll tell you now, darling, it’s fucking me!”

If the match were to happen, fans would be excited as the pair have both teased this match plenty in the past and it is believed they are two of the best technical wrestlers in the world and they could produce a fantastic match if they were to face each other one on one.
Time will tell if we will get this dream match but it is looking more likely by the day.
