Big Show Refused To Lose To Hulk Hogan At WrestleMania 23
Big Show vs Hulk Hogan?
At one stage in 2007, it looked like Show was going to go one on one with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 23 in what would have been a WrestleMania moment.
Jim Ross said on a recent episode of Grilling JR that the company couldn’t put it together. Big Show refused to do the job for Hogan at WrestleMania.
“Other than his back being problematic, he didn’t want to job for Hogan. I’m sure Big Show thought ‘It’s my time for Hogan to put me over.’ And that was never in consideration quite frankly.”

Show and Hogan had worked previously together in WCW, where the pair would have two singles matches in the company. It’s clear WWE were hoping to replicate Hogan bodyslamming Andre 20 years later.
