Gerald Brisco Concerned For Ric Flair’s Health Regarding Final Match

Another name has come forward regarding Ric Flair’s final match.

Ric Flair has been in the news a lot the last couple of months. He confirmed that he will be wrestling one more match at 73 years old. It will be in a tag team match so his wrestling will likely be minimal. Flair has been posting clips from his training for the match, including taking some nasty bumps while training with Jay Lethal.

Some names in the industry have come forward with concern for Flair’s health and now another name has been added to that list is Gerald Brisco. While speaking with Raju Dasgupta, Gerald Brisco was asked to give his thoughts on Flair coming back for one last match. While the Hall of Famer has all the respect in the world for his longtime friend, he too is worried that Flair may be stepping a bit out of bounds this time.

I told him how much I appreciate his career and how much I appreciate the friendship all these years, and that I’m concerned, not as a foe or anything, but I’m concerned as a lifelong friend. He’s one of my longest running friends. You look around during our era and there’s not many left.

He had gone through such horrific health issues the last couple of years. If you’re a friend, you don’t want to see a friend do that. You just don’t want to see it. I’m not going to watch it. I’ll probably get heat again when this gets out. I’m not going to watch it. I’ll tune into the internet, but I’m just not going to contribute by watching it. My thoughts and prayers are with Ric Flair.

Flair will look to return to the ring with no major issues regarding his health but as Brisco mentions, Flair has a pacemaker and one wrong bump could be a catastrophe. Here’s hoping that it all goes well for Flair.
