Tammy Sytch Moves To Dismiss Lawsuit Related To Fatal Car Crash
It seems Sytch, formerly known as Sunny, believes that the suit is not valid.
Earlier this year, Tammy Sytch caused an accident that resulted in the death of an elderly man that succumbed to his injuries. Sytch is currently facing charges related to the crash including a DUI and manslaughter charges. If convicted, she faces up to 30 years in prison.
According to PW Insider, Sytch and her team has filed for a motion to dismiss the civil lawsuit case brought forward by Lasseter’s love ones. Sytch’s legal team is arguing that because the victim’s daughter is not properly appointed as representative of the victim’s estate, she does not have the legal authority to file suit under Florida Statue 768.20.
The victim’s family are seeking $100 million in damages. Sytch’s boyfriend ended up making a statement to the Daytona Beach News-Journal. He declined to comment on any potential plea deal. Sytch meanwhile has pleaded not guilty the day before filing to dismiss the lawsuit.
