The Lucha Brothers And Andrade El Idolo Will Not Be Allowed To Compete At Forbidden Door

It looks like one of AEW’s best tag teams will have to skip the crossover card.

With multiple promotions looking forward to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 26, 2022, it appears that three major AEW Stars will not be booked for the card. Now, a new report from the Lucha Blog states that not only will Andrade be missing AEW’s crossover show with New Japan, but Penta Oscuro and Rey Fenix, The Lucha Brothers, will be missing the show as well.

“I’ve since been told Andrade was booked on Forbidden Door and is no longer booked on Forbidden Door. Fenix & Penta will also not be appearing on Forbidden Door, as confirmed to me by multiple sources. Andrade’s tweet should be taken at face value. This is bad for everyone,”

Penta is set to be involved in the qualifiers for the All Atlantic Championship fatal four way match at the Forbidden Door event. This news may be a spoiler for that match however. Andrade originally brought this to people’s attention with his tweet from earlier today.
