AEW Did Not Release Statement Until Tony Khan Talked To Jeff Hardy
It looks like Tony Khan is determined to do his job properly.
Earlier today, AEW announced that Jeff Hardy is now indefinitely suspended until he receives treatment for his substance abuse issues. Until that time, Jeff will not be a member of the AEW roster and he will also be suspended without pay.
Dave Meltzer broke the news just after the post was made that Tony Khan had personally waited until he had spoken to Jeff Hardy.
AEW didn’t release the statement until Khan had a chance to talk it out with Hardy.

It is a positive note that Khan waited till he heard Jeff’s side to the story before releasing any type of statement regarding his DUI arrest earlier this week.
