AEW know the ace in the sleeve they have for their women’s division.
At present, Thunder Rosa is the AEW Women’s World Champion. She defeated Britt Baker earlier this year and has defended it three times. A next challenger isn’t clear and following her match with Marina Shafir, Rosa was attacked by the fighter. Toni Storm would make the save, clearing Shafir out of the ring. Storm would linger, holding the AEW Women’s title in the segment and teased a match between Rosa and Storm.
AEW have now teased the match even further as they step up their promotion ahead of AEW Dynamite tomorrow night.
Time will tell if this will be the direction AEW will go with for Rosa’s fourth title defense but if their promotion is any indication, Storm may be next for the AEW Women’s Champion.
