Josh Emmett On Looking To Do Anything To Get His Hand Raised Saturday And Looking Forward To A Title Fight
UFC Featherweight Josh Emmett is going head to head with Calvin Kattar this Saturday, June 18, 2022 in the main event of UFC on ESPN 37 event. Recently, Josh Emmett sat down with Shakiel Mahjouri to talk about the upcoming fight. During the interview, Josh said he is looking to potentially be next in line for the title, if he wins Saturday.
I’m not overlooking him [Kattar], I’m not looking beyond him because man, he’s a tough, tough test. So, I’m staying focused on the task at hand. But, you better believe I’m doing everything in my power to get my hand raised. I’m willing to go through anything to get my hand raised on June 18th, and then the game-plan will be sitting cage side July 2nd.

Current champion Alex Volkanovski is defending his Featherweight title against Max Holloway on July 2nd at UFC 276 in the co-main event.
Josh Emmett, currently on a four fight win streak will battle Calvin Kattar, who’s lost only one of his last four, with the loss being to #1 contender, Max Holloway. With the rest of the division currently booked up, there is a high possibility that the winner of Saturday’s main event could be next in line for the Featherweight Championship.
