Reason Why Troy “2 Dimes” Donovan Was Fired by WWE Revealed
The WWE recently released a member of Tony D’Angelo’s on-screen family after news came out that Troy “2 Dimes” Donovan failed a policy issue.
Donovan signed with WWE in March of 2022, made his debut alongside Channing Lauren on the April 8 episode of NXT Level Up where the pair were defeated by Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward before being brought into the on-screen family of D’Angelo’s.
The real reason for his release as first reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is that Donovan failed a drug test and if he’s able to be given the all clear in a year’s time we could see the performer known on the indies as ‘Cole Karter’ return to his job in WWE.
