Thunder Rosa is the current AEW Women’s Champion. There’s lots of possible matches ups out there for her, but maybe none bigger than a dream match against Sasha Banks.
Amid all the news and rumors of Sasha Banks allegedly leaving WWE, Thunder Rosa sat down to do a virtual signing with The Asylum Wrestling Store, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa was asked about the possibility of Banks joining AEW. This is what the AEW Women’s Champion had to say.
I mean, of course everybody’s gonna come for whoever’s on top, right? [Rosa responded when asked about the idea of Sasha Banks showing up in AEW] I’m the biggest prey any predator comes after and I’m ready man. I told you, I’m not afraid of nobody. If Sasha wants — if ‘The Boss’ wants some from La Mera Mera, she got it, she got it coming. Hell yeah. That’s how I do.

There’s no doubt this would be a huge match if it were to happen. Obviously, Sasha Banks would have to go to AEW first. But, with rumors swirling, it’s not off the table.
