WATCH: Daniel Cormier And Phil Hawes Get Into A Heated Confrontation Following Hawes UFC Win
Phil Hawes scored a TKO victory over Deron Winn at UFC Fight Night in Austin, Texas.
Following the win, Phil Hawes was seen yelling at Daniel Cormier, who was in the cage for a post-fight interview. Apparently, Phil claims Daniel “picked the wrong opponent” after he defeated Deron, who is Daniel Cormier’s training partner. A heated Hawes was seemingly blaming Cormier for picking a “easy win” for Winn, but Cormier snapped back saying he “doesn’t pick the fights” and tried to calm Phil down. Thankfully, it was calmed down and they were professional for the interview.
