Vince McMahon appearing on SmackDown yesterday was one of the weirdest decisions of his life, yet again this was not surprising.
Vince McMahon currently is in a very delicate situation, and yet he decided to use the fact he was in the eye of the hurricane and booked himself for an appearance and pop a rating.
When Vince McMahon’s music started, the crowd starting cheering the man and bowing in some cases. WWE is pretty much a cult. A strange situation but this is not the first time something like this happened, when WWE was critized for their dealings with Saudi Arabia, Vince McMahon came out and he was cheered by the fans.
There’s no doubt that WWE will win most disgusting promotional tactic award for what they did last week. Common sense would tell you to not show up on TV and maybe laying down would be the smartest choice, but not for Vince.
There’s also the fact Vince still is in charge of creative while the investigations regarding his case go on. This is yet another terrible decision. Vince should be away until the investigations conclude, but yet, alot of people ignore this.
