Aljamain Sterling Wants To Start A Rum Company
UFC’s current Batamweight Champion, Aljamain Sterling, seemingly has a lot left to give inside of the octagon. But, he is also thinking about a future outside of it.
Sterling recently made a appearance on UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” He talked about wanting to start a different kind of business outside of the cage.
I always like fighters that branch out and start doing (new) things. Because obviously, it’s a short career window, so you gotta make the most out of it while you can. And I’m hoping to try to do the same thing. I’m trying to start a rum company.

Aljamain wouldn’t be the first to get into the liquor business. Previously, Jorge Masvidal partnered with Recuerdo Mezcal. Also, one of UFC’s biggest stars of all time, Conor McGregor, also has his own liquor company with Proper No. Twelve, which he sold the majority stake in, reportedly gaining him a whopping $600 Million. A proven business venture so far for UFC athletes and liquor, Aljamain Sterling could just be next in line.
