Jim Cornette Blasts WWE For Running Out Of Credible Title Challengers For Roman Reigns
Cornette doesn’t understand how WWE have ran out of title contenders for Roman Regins.
On last Friday’s edition of SmackDown, Roman Reigns would defend his WWE Universal unified world titles against Riddle in the main event. Reigns would win the match, making it known that there was no one left for him to defend against next. Following that statement, Brock Lesnar’s music would hit and despite the general reaction being positive to Lesnar’s return, many are concerned with the WWE running it back so soon after WrestleMania.
While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette criticized WWE for running out of credible challengers for Roman Reigns, once his feud with Brock Lesnar is over.
“Here you have a rematch of the biggest WrestleMania match that they could put together and that they did. But now the problem is, if Brock and Roman, the rematch is at SummerSlam that is the biggest money match they can put together. Then what they do they have planned for Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and next year’s WrestleMania by this point? They keep having to rehab and revamp and rematch the same handful of guys.”
