Bobby Lashley wanted a shot at Theory’s U.S. Title, but first he had to run the gauntlet and defeat three men to get his shot.
Lashley first defeated Chad Gable, then immediately had to take on Otis. Lashley defeated Otis via disqualification when Chad Gable attacked The Almighty. Gable and Otis beat Lashley down before his third opponent, who was kept as a mystery, made his way out. The third competitor ended up being Theory himself. Theory brought it to Lashley, who was fighting from underneath, but in the end, Lashley picked up the win.
Now, Bobby Lashley earned the right to challenge Theory for his United States Championship at the Money In The Bank Pay-per-view.
