Former WWE Star Chris Nowinski Gives Wrestlers Advice About Concussions Following Scary Injury To Jack Evans This Weekend
Chris Nowinski is a former WWE star who was with the company from 2002-2003. He is also a former Harvard graduate and has a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience. founded the Concussion Legacy Foundation(CLF) in Boston, Massachusetts in reaction to medical research indicating brain trauma in sports had become a public health crisis.
Nowinski has given wrestlers lots of advice in the past and now he is back at it via a tweet, after Jack Evans seemingly got a concussion from landing on his after after a 630 splash. Chris advices wrestlers not to touch their hurt opponent if they suspect a concussion. He said this:
It’s always good to learn about concussions in contact sports, and very important to know the do’s and don’ts to help protect your opponent with a possible head/neck injury. We hope Jack Evans is okay.
