One of the best storylines in AEW company history may be one of the best period.
When CM Punk entered AEW, it was known that he would produce magic just as he had in the WWE for many years. One feud that got over incredibly well with fans was Punk’s feud with MJF. MJF defeated Punk twice before facing off one last time to end the feud.
CM Punk would end up winning the match after Wardlow betrayed MJF. While speaking on “Wrestling with Freddie”, Freddie Prinze Jr. stated that CM Punk and MJF’s feud is the best wrestling story in over a decade.
“I do give AEW credit for the best wrestling story in over a decade with the MJF and CM Punk storyline. Which, if you haven’t seen it, I’m sure someone edited it together on YouTube, if not, AEW themselves and their social media and YouTube group, they cut together some pretty awesome stuff.”

The feud has had much praise since it went down, with many believing that we have only seen the first chapter in their story. Time will tell if that will be the case.
