Some clarification from Renee Paquette.
When people her about alcoholics, there is usually a taboo-esque reaction to it due to people who are angry drunks or someone who gets behind the wheel. Some people however, are not in that boat. It turns out, Jon Moxley fits that bill to a tee.
ESPN spoke to Renee Paquette regarding Moxley’s stint in rehab and recovery, where she clarified that Mox was never a violent drunk:
“[When he’s drinking,] he’s fun to be around. He’s always in a good mood,” Paquette said. “He’s never the guy who you see who turns into a mean drunk or wants to get behind a wheel. He would just want to drink and fall asleep.”

While there was no statements to suggest otherwise, it is good to hear that while Moxley was suffering with alcoholism, he didn’t turn abusive like many do.
