Triple H “Seems To Have More Power” In NXT 2.0
It looks like The Game is back in power in NXT.
Triple H ran NXT for a considerable amount of time, making NXT not only developmental, but a third brand in the WWE. NXT 2.0 has gone away with that idea as of late with the rebrand under Vince McMahon’s control. Now however, it seems like Triple H will be involved with the booking of the brand once again as he appeared at the Performance Center yesterday and declared he was back.
Dave Meltzer talked about Triple H returning to NXT and the Performance Center on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio.
“He was just there. He said that he was back. He didn’t say what exactly that meant. I asked some people there, and they said that he just said things are happening, and he can’t talk about them right now, but he’s back. So, that’s basically it. Whatever it is will come out in the days to come, but nobody knew exactly what he meant by that. Was he back running NXT? Perhaps. Is he back with more power? Yes. He does seem to have more power now.”

It is worth noting that around the time Stephanie McMahon began a hiatus from the company, Triple H returned to his role within the WWE. Now with Stephanie McMahon as the interim CEO and Chairwoman, we may see more of The Game regarding NXT 2.0.
