Since AEW’s start, they’ve been with Warner Bros, now Discovery. WB and Discovery, the parent company of TBS and TNT, recently merged. AEW has done a few collabs with their companies including plugging Godzilla vs King Kong, or even bringing in Shaq in conjunction with NBA on TNT coverage.
Now, a new collaboration is in the works according to Dave Meltzer in this week’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Apparently, AEW Stars have already starting filming material for a crossover with Shark Week.
AEW will have heavy involvement with Shark Week on Discovery. Many promos have already been filmed and they plan on doing some kind of a gimmick match that week related to it.

It’ll be interesting to see what they come up with for a apparent Shark Week themed gimmick match.
