AEW Pushing For Emmy Nomination
AEW Dynamite has been on TV since 2019, through TNT and now TBS.
In the past, AEW & WWE have both tried for an Emmy to no avail. Now, WWE seemingly has given up on that but AEW remains for the push towards winning the award. In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that it is not likely to happen. Tony Khan’s group is still giving it a try, however.
AEW is attempting to get nominated this year (it won’t happen) for an Emmy award for Dynamite on the Outstanding Structured Reality Program category. In the past WWE has attempted to get nominated for Emmy Awards for Raw but was never successful. They did not attempt to do so this year.

Nominations will be announced July 12th. We will wait and see if AEW happens to get picked.
