AEW Forbidden Door is tonight, June 26, 2022. It seems that AEW is running a tight ship tonight, especially with the addition of the NJPW talent.
As first reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, many regular AEW talent who are not featured on the card, we’re not brought into the show. A strict regimen of having only the talent involved on the show at the show seems to be the plan. The report reads:
Not everyone was brought in to the show tonight. Many regulars who aren’t featured on the show are not in town.

Despite some talent not being in town, this does not mean we can’t see some faces who’re not on the card show up. Besides the obvious mystery opponent for Zack Sabre Jr, could AEW/NJPW have some other surprises up their sleeves? That remains to be seen. The AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View airs live tonight, headlined by Jon Moxley vs Hiroshi Tanahashi for the interim AEW World Championship.
