Jay White successfully defended his IWGP Championship tonight against Kazuchika Okada, Adam Cole and Adam Page.
We’ve seen him compete and appear on AEW multiple times in the past, but at the AEW Forbidden Door Post Show Media Scrum, Jay White was asked if he would continue to work with AEW or take his IWGP Championship back to Japan. Jay had a very… ‘Jay White’ answer, after arguing with a staff member for not putting his championship on the table correctly
Would I like to? I don’t know. Will I? I don’t know, cause this is how it works, I don’t have to tell you anything, I don’t have to give away anything. When you’re the champion, when you’re the guy who single handedly sells out arenas like Madison Square Garden and United center, you can kinda do what you want and show up when you want so, stay tuned I guess.
