Jon Moxley Calls Bryan Danielson The Greatest Pro Wrestler To Ever Live
We know Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley are close, even being partners in the Blackpool Combat Club. But, Moxley can’t believe he teams with, in his opinion, the greatest ever.
Jon Moxley sat down at the Post-Forbidden Door Media Scrum where he said that Bryan Danielson is one of the greatest to ever live, and he can’t believe he’s teaming with him. Moxley’s full comments are below.
I mean, Bryan in my book, Bryan Danielson is the greatest professional [wrestler], you know, people say like, Tanahashi is one of the greatest ever and you know, Jericho’s the G.O.A.T, and we say all this, you know, just for my money and my opinion, the greatest professional wrestler to ever live, to ever do it, is Bryan Danielson. And it’s crazy, cause he’s my partner. I get to like, tag team with him, you know? And also, he’s one of my favorite wrestlers ever, like my legit, like on my top list of like two or three, four or whatever, like, he’s in that group of like all my favorite wrestlers to watch ever. And it’s almost like there’s two different, there’s like one of my favorite wrestlers to watch, Bryan Danielson, who’s like right up there with my all time favorites like Bret Hart and stuff, and then there’s like Bryan my friend who’s like all eco-friendly and shit, you know, and you know, like a good father and all this, and you know we have similar interests and we talk and whatever. That’s almost like two separate people and sometimes I gotta like pinch myself out there like, “I get to team with one of my favorite wrestlers like of all time, that’s pretty cool”. So, I mean if there’s ever a guy that’s gonna push you and make you better and like you can’t slack off when you’re teaming with a guy that good, cause, you know, you gotta, it pushes me I wanna like, be like, “oh I can keep up with Bryan, and you know, I’m pretty good too sometimes you know?” like, so it makes me wanna push myself.
