Lauren Murphy vs. Miesha Tate Rebooked For UFC on ABC In July
Miesha and Lauren were originally scheduled to meet at this weekend’s UFC 276 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, Nevada, but had to postpone their meeting a few weeks due to Murphy testing positive for COVID-19.
Now, Lauren Murphy and Miesha Tate are set to collide at UFC on ABC 3 on July 16 in Long Island, New York. UFC officially confirmed the news via a press release on Monday. Miesha Tate moves down to the flyweight division after going 1-3 in her last four and will try to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Ketlen Vieira at UFC Vegas 43. Lauren Murphy on the other hand, is 5-1 in her last six fights and is coming off of a fourth-round TKO loss to reigning UFC women’s flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, at UFC 266.
