It appears the Will Ospreay vs Orange Cassidy match stole the show at Forbidden Door.
This past weekend, Orange Cassidy and Will Ospreay squared off for the IWGP United States Championship at Forbidden Door. The match has been praised an incredible amount since the bout took place, with many believing it was the match of the night on a stellar card.
In a recent Wrestling Observer Update, it was noted that the backstage reaction to Ospreay and Cassidy’s match was very positive. AEW employees were reportedly going crazy over the bout. The reaction inside AEW matched the excitement of the fans.
“Backstage people were going crazy with the quality of Will Ospreay vs. Orange Cassidy.”

Now, Ospreay will look to turn to Juice Robinson of The Bullet Club who still holds the physical championship. Time will tell when the two will square off, but for now Ospreay can relax knowing he tore down the house with Cassidy at Forbidden Door.
