Jake Atlas will not be prosecuted on domestic battery charges.
Earlier this year, Jake Atlas was arrested on domestic violence charges and was blackballed by most from the wrestling industry. While he is currently out with an ACL tear, it is not expected he will be welcomed back to AEW upon being medically cleared.
According to TMZ Sports, the charge has been dropped against him. According to court documents, officials stated that they were declining to prosecute him as after an investigation, “it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution.”
It was further noted by the court records that there was supposed to be a hearing on Tuesday, but it has been canceled.
Time will tell what will be next for Atlas, but for now he has caught a break legally but that does not mean he is innocent.
