AEW x New Japan’s Forbidden Door was a draw.
Tony Khan took to social media to thank fans for supporting AEW and NJPW by investing their time and money into Forbidden Door, he added that the show did over $5 million on pay-per-view and once again noted that the show did over $1 million in ticket sales, previously saying that it did over $1.1 million and is the second biggest gate in AEW history behind Double or Nothing 2022.
Tony Khan noted at the post-show media scrum that the show did over 100,000 buys on digital PPV. Congratulations to AEW & NJPW on the high numbers for the first collaborative Pay-Per-View.
