UFC Signs Hamdy Abdelwahab, The First Egyptian Fighter in Promotion’s History
The UFC made history by signing it’s first Egyptian fighter in the promotion’s history this week.
Hamdy Abdelwahab was born in Cairo, Egypt and has spent the last few years competing in MMA and Bare Knuckle MMA (3-0 MMA, 2-0 BKMMA) where he is currently on a 5-fight win streak and now part of the biggest MMA promotion in America.
Here is a clip below of what Jorge Masvidal thought when he first saw Abdelwahab fight before “The Hammer” was officially signed to the UFC.
If that hype was not enough to convince you, here is a clip of “The Hammer” delivering two blows to his opponent to finish them in 29 seconds.
The debut of Abdelwahab should come before the end of the year, no fight has been announced as of yet, we will keep you updated on any news we’ll receive on the future of “The Hammer”
