A different way of handling promos!
Wardlow has shown time and again that he can hold his own on the microphone with any of the long line of stars that have come out of AEW since his push began.
During a K&S WrestleFest signing, Wardlow was asked if he knew what MJF was going to say in his pipe bomb promo earlier this month and he shared some insight into how AEW handle talent’s promo time:
“For the most part, we write our own (material). They just hand us microphones and we go out there and say what we want. There’s really no monitoring what we say when we go out there,”

Time will tell if Wardlow will continue to grow on the microphone, but it is an interesting insight that even he is allowed to say what he wants to say in AEW. It is certainly a contrast between WWE and AEW booking.
