Eddie Kingston feels like Detroit will understand the violence tonight.
Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite will feature a Blood And Guts main event between The Blackpool Combat Club and The Jericho Appreciation Society. Of the two factions, the biggest story comes down to Jericho and Eddie Kingston, who have been feuding throughout this year.
While speaking to WXYZ Detroit, Kingston discussed how it came to be that Detroit would host the special edition of Dynamite.
“I was asked where would I like to do it, and they gave us a bunch of dates where we could possibly do it,” said Kingston. “And I heard Detroit. I said Detroit will get it. They’d get it and will understand the violence, and they will appreciate it. I’m not knocking anywhere else, but I remember when (AEW president Tony Khan) said Detroit, my eyes lit up.”
