Chad Gable has had an odd run in the WWE. Constantly in a tag team, Gable is a highly accomplished amateur wrestler. Someone who WWE fans have clamoured to be paired with Gable is Kurt Angle. In fact, when Kurt Angle had a storyline as RAW GM where a WWE superstar would be revealed to be his child, many expected Gable to fit that role.
While Speaking with Steve Fall on NBC Sports Boston, Kurt Angle stated that he believes Chad Gable’s size is holding him back and that’s why he isn’t getting pushed much in WWE.
Well, he’s a great talent. He’s very talented and I think the reason is his size. You know he’s probably 170 pounds, you know 5’8. I think that bears a little bit on the reason why he’s not being pushed as much as he should be but I think he is an amazing talent. I think the WWE can do a lot with him. He’s very technical, he has a lot of charisma, he’s a talented kid and I think he would do extremely well if the company pushed him.”

Time will tell if we will see Gable pushed again by the WWE and if he will ever be pushed as a singles talent. For now he remains part of a tag team with Otis on RAW.
