Wheeler Yuta Is Excited About Blood And Guts And Teaming With Claudio Castagnoli
It looks like Wheeler Yuta is excited to team with Castagnoli.
This past weekend at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, we saw the AEW debut of Claudio Castagnoli (formerly known as Cesaro) to a huge reaction. At the end of the show, Claudio would make the save for the Blackpool Combat Club, taking out most of the Jericho Appreciation Society on his own.
Speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, BCC member Wheeler Yuta commented on Claudio’s debut. Yuta commented earlier this month that he would like to see Claudio in AEW.
“I didn’t find out until everyone else did! When I was saying he would be a great fit [a few weeks ago], that was all just conjecture and me saying, ‘Oh yeah that’d be cool!’ To see him out there, it’s like, ‘Wow! This is my new teammate!’ It was really cool to see! I’m very excited to see what he’ll be able to do – in AEW in general, but also at Blood and Guts. I’m very excited for that as well,”

When asked about Blood And Guts in particular, Yuta is expecting it to be a challenge:
“It’s definitely gonna be a challenge, knowing that this match – even just in AEW, has already produced incredible moments, not to mention the legacy of the match beforehand for years and years. It’s definitely a lot to live up to. It’s something different than I’ve ever done, so I’m really ready for the challenge. You can’t ignore the history, you have to known where it’s coming from so it’s definitely something to consider. At the same time, I wanna make sure this is something different.”
